Bishop Libby Lane leads Cafe Church service
On Sunday, 17 March 2024, it was a pleasure to host Bishop Libby Lane, the Bishop of Derby, to lead our 10am Cafe Church service. Over 30 congregation came (despite the heavy rain) from both the 10am and 11.30am congregations. Afterwards everyone enjoyed some great coffee and cake. Thank you Bishop Libby for joining us and leading the service.
Revd Sarah installed as Priest-in-Charge of Allestree, Darley Abbey and Quarndon
On Sunday, 14 January 2023, Revd Sarah as installed by Bishop Malcolm and assisted by The Venerable Matthew Trick into her new role of Priest-in-Charge of Allestree St Edmund & Darley Abbey, of Allestree St Nicholas and of Quarndon.
All at St Philip's and the fellowship send Sarah, Phil and Sam our love and prayers for this new chapter to their lives, and thanks for their support whilst building St Philip's and putting us in a positive and forward-focussed position moving forward.
